max, coleman and class =P

hm, i shall give a brief intro. into my interactions with max and coleman respectively as my mentors in I&E. during the first lesson at I&E, i felt that max is a nice guy, and as i got to know him a lil better at our I&E classes, i realised he's been acting somewhat like a father figure, indeed different from all the other lecturers i have had, and he's "methods" on helping us grow have been unconventional and interesting. i had fun and had learnt quite a bit, growing in different aspects at these classes.
alrights, now to coleman, erm, all along i always thought that coleman was a rather quiet guy, and him being all cool scares me at times, however, when he first taught me beta blogger's system at atrium for our project, my impression of him kinda changed, he's quiet, cool but he's quite down to earth, i was really glad that he taught me how to use the beta blogger better, and i am sure glad that he gave the ending speech for our I&E, being a lil older than us, he's able to pretty much connect to us. haha, met you the other day when you were alighting the bus, sorry was rushing so kinda didn't really say a proper "hi". anyway, your words of wisdom on living life meaningfully has touched many of us, it made perfect sense. living a life of no meaning will just be another routine that we are forced to do, so living a life of meaning actually brings us out to see things from another, more interesting and worthwhile perspective than the previous. i'm glad that you shared with us your experiences and what you went through while growing up and learning, may you be as inspirational even when you move out into another company. ganbatte! (do your best =D) let us all make meaning in whatever paths we take.
thanks to max and coleman for being wonderful and special mentors. and thanks to all for being in my class, and growing with me.
take cares!

love, desiree =)

thanks Max & Coleman!

looking back at our IS class,
i thought our class was always doing unneccessary activities.
which i always ask, " why cant we just finish up one event and be done with it"
i compared my Health n Lifestyle to my other classmates,
they started their projects and ended it even before i started on mine.

However i was really happy being in this class.
i had 2 mentors, Max n Coleman, who helped us along the way in doing the project.
Max helped us to create the idea of our projects through the games and activities that we do.
our very own SUPERHERO, and the 'sporty' activities and running around the campus for photos.

Everything was so much more interesting,
compared to my classmates'

Having friendly mentors who will sit down with us
and go through our problems in our projects,
and not just projects,
even before class start, we sit around and talk about each other.

Bumping into coleman while i was working and instead of ignoring my presense,
he said Hi. but the sad thing was, at then, i forgot that he was my mentor. :P

but overall, i enjoyed my IS module for this semester and i keep telling jiesi that,
this IS mentors are the best compare to the past 1 and a half years of mentors that i had.
SERIOUSLY. (:
